Installation Instructions:

Ceramic is very durable but it is also susceptible to breaking during installation if you are not careful. We are not responsible for damage to the hook during installation due to user error. If you are not confident in your ability, have a professional install it for you.

1 - Mark the position of the screw holes onto the desired surface by poking a pen/pencil through the holes of the Shaka Hook.

2 - Predrill the holes according to anchor size used, and if not using anchor and drilling directly into wood use a 3/32" drill bit. Important: Make sure the holes are straight and perpendicular to the surface.

3 - Slowly HAND TIGHTEN the screws with a phillips screwdriver with the Hook in place.

4 - Do NOT use a power driver to tighten the screws.

5 - Do NOT fully tighten the first screw until both screws are nearly tightened. You risk putting pressure onto the porcelain with the second screw if its already tightened down.

6 - STOP screwing once the screw head touches the porcelain… do not tighten any further than is necessary to make the hook stable... doing so will risk cracking the porcelain.
